Thursdays are for chilling out, with a race, yes, but without points or trophies. There is just a bottle of wine for the winner and this is traditionally drunk during supper immediately afterwards at Itchenor Sailing club.

Thursdays are for chilling out, with a race, yes, but without points or trophies. There is just a bottle of wine for the winner and this is traditionally drunk during supper immediately afterwards at Itchenor Sailing club.

The other tradition is that all are welcome on Thursdays. Turn up at the Club by 6pm and we swap helms and crew so that everyone gets a sail.
Bosham Supper
On 4th June the Thursday 2009 evening race finished at Bosham, where 48 Sunbeamers had a most enjoyable supper before being towed back home to Itchenor under the light of the moon.
